Since this post, $PONS has gone up roughly ~4x and @ponsdotfamily clarified that 80% of protocol revenue is being used for buybacks, so it’s worthwhile to crunch these numbers again. In 6 days of operation, Pons accrued $324K of revenue ($15.8M annualized). At an 80% split and $12.4M FDV, this equates to a ~0.8 price-to-buyback ratio. Again, as a comparison, $PUMP currently trades at ~9.7x buybacks. PONS trades at an extremely favorable ratio, and even if revenue was to fall 80% (daily revenue of ~$3.5K), PONS would still trade at a cheaper price-to-buyback ratio than PUMP.
