hosted a founder workshop and got a question about which verticals are exciting to go after right now and it made me pause to think two parts to this: 1- i think there are verticals that have capacity to 10x from here, and broadly they are: - prediction markets - perps - yield/neobanks - stablecoins - payments - RWA - tokenization in general and ultimately great consumer apps will leverage multiple of these to varying degrees of success. that’s the beauty of the ecosystem. 2- it doesn’t matter what i think. ultimately you have to cultivate some sense of curiosity and natural inclination towards a problem that you can become obsessed with. in fact, obsession is table stakes if you are trying to win in the arena. listen to yourself and trust your intuition, there have been so many cases of david v. goliath - it’s all possible. and in fact many of the winners we see today were just stubborn and refused to give up tenacity and courage are in much shorter supply than genius perhaps cliche but venturing into the land of uncertainty and trying to build something that once solely existed in your mind is one of the best pursuits you can take and we consider ourselves immensely blessed to play a small part in that journey at the foundation good news is you’re in the driver seat and you’re gonna crush it

Last year at BP in Singapore I felt the art community was disjointed. I even remember someone snickering when @TheOnlyNom announced the acquisition of @exchgART by @bonk_inu. It didn’t feel right. It felt off. I wanted that to change, because if we were to do anything in this community we would have to work together, even if we were in competition. It was us against an outside world that didn’t value digital art on chain, not us against each other. Conversations with @kaya_mallow @vibhu @Plumpa @XO12XX started. And then after with @vvvdotso , @fairybaby420 , Jared and their community. This was the most important part of the process as we realized we all cared for and wanted the same thing; for artists to do well and be excited about what they were a part of, no matter the market place or platform. A win for @mallowdotart, a win for @exchgART, a win for VVV, @drip_haus and @foster_protocol was a win for all of us. So for the first time that I can remember we started working together. We collaborated for events for NFT NYC, with with @30CamposEliseos in Mexico, Paris, and most importantly this weekend at @SolanaConf that saw the work of 95 artists on display throughout 2 galleries and locations around the entire conference grounds. Art was visible and art was appreciated. I leave with the feeling of pride we were able to do this together, but also with a much larger motivation to bring even more art into BP and a way to get more artists to these locations. It was still a very tech/finance heavy conference, as it will always be, but we all know it’s the artists that bring a special culture that cannot be replicated or replaced. We bring the vibes and beauty no one can match. I want more of that. And I want it at a bigger scale. All in all I’m incredibly happy with how everything was produced. @platis_e and the Brownys team are the best, most trustworthy production crew I’ve ever worked with and we already started talks for what we want to see at BP 26 in London. A special thank you to my EA and Cycol teams who held it down like they always do. @jairo_ema25 and @strakts with the hours of design work, @goku_nft running the dev updates and socials among the many other hats he wears with us as a lead, @lampwrecked_ and @EssjayneArt making intentional connections down at Basel, spaces and writing teams, the entire crew always bringing their A game.
