Thrilled to share that I've stepped into a new role as Head of Communications at @DoubleZero. If I've learned anything during the last few years in HFT / crypto, it's that relentless performance optimization is what separates ideas from results. Since its inception, crypto has been running on infrastructure orders of magnitude slower than traditional markets, and largely unaware of it. The @doublezero network's fees went live in early October, here's a snapshot for the month so far: ~$256,000 of USD equivalent fees. According to @DefiLlama this puts DoubleZero at 16th in 30-day fees-by-network less than a month since launch. These fees go to contributors of the fiber contributors to the DoubleZero network, with a portion of fees burned for sybil resistance. Today these fees only comprise a 5% block reward fee paid by Solana validators.
