most of what I've made in crypto came from a handful of trades where I had insanely high conviction to the point where it was all I could think about and talk about, especially when I felt like I was the only one who saw the trade the problem is in between those plays I give back a bunch of money just chasing random things where I don't have that same obsessive feeling. I buy some shitcoin on a whim, or I take a swing trade on an alt purely based on TA and get blindsided. then by the next time I start fixating on a balls-tingling trade, I dont have nearly as much capital as I should to bet big on it need to be better about sitting on my hands patiently waiting for those opportunities to go all-in pre-flop with pocket aces. it's just tough when it only happens a few times a year and you have no idea when the next opportunity will present itself, meanwhile you're watching other ppl hit trades every day on the timeline thinking "damn I couldve caught that" idk what the point of this post was, maybe just to hold myself more accountable for not bleeding pnl making dumb impulsive decisions. it's the same stuff that gets repeated here all the time (5x a year there's free money on the ground...), but actually executing on it is magnitudes more difficult
