in 2 weeks I went from my peak to being at my lowest in a long time I fumbled my biggest pnl ever (xpl) obviously should've sold after being up 35x but I overdosed on euphoria It's strange because I've always been a conservative jeet my whole career like I genuinely don't understand why I was so attached to plasma that made me hold and even dca I think the main reason was that I was just tired of trenching, been doing this non stop for 2 years now and just wanted to chill and be a whale for once it's also my first ever trade that was undeniably impressive. l had people who don't even like me giving me respects and maybe I didn't want to let go of that feeling I may have even held thinking this would be my chance to maybe be one of the greats even if it was only for a little while I know it sounds extremely cringe and stupid but at a certain point I think I stopped caring about the pnl and more about how people perceived it not that it matters anymore because I managed to fuck up the trade in the end my pnl was already dying on xpl but ended up getting killed by that liq event XPL dropped -30% in a week so I started heavily dcaing and boom next day it drops another -50% in a couple hours crazy that I've been mostly stabled the whole cycle and literally haven't touched my stables for a year but since for xpl you needed high size with stables I took it out for the presale. (it was 1:20 so not much risk) what really fucked me was that Instead of sending my stables back to safety once I got them back, I ended up using those stables to dca which hurt me the most because not only was I roundtripping uPNL but was adding insane size from my personal saved stack ^ incredibly stupid move btw first time In my 5 years of crypto that I was over allocated to something and we get the biggest liq event in history a couple days later. You can play the whole cycle perfectly but fuck up once and it's like ggs my biggest pnl ever to my biggest loss ever in just 2 weeks because I dcad like an idiot and got liqd on a long ironic enough I did the same thing back in jan/feb after making some good money on trump + hitting a perfect short managed to lose so much of it back the next month doing dumb decisions when I was off a high doing the same thing 3 times isn't a mistake it's being a terrible trader It's taken me way to long to realize that I'm just not as good at trading that I've claimed to be these past years I somehow psyoped myself into thinking I'm one of the best but it's obvious to me now that I'm not I've hit big pnls but what do those matter if the losses are just as big? it's actually embarrassing to think back at how much of a loser I've been at times these past years trying to put on some goated trader persona I've acted in a egotistical manner to people who are just so clearly miles ahead of me because I genuinely thought I was on par with them after hitting a single big pnl (sorry to those) in short I've been humbled and my eyes are open now anyway this may sound like a pity post but it's not.
