chasing 200% APY is cool until you realize you’re the one being farmed one of the most important things in crypto and defi is risk management farming protocols with unrealistic yields or high risk yield strategies can be fatal to your bags try to always understand how yield is being generated and if it is sustainable @solsticefi weathered the storm on october 10th due to the more risk averse strategies they implement on their defi protocol delta neutral trading where they were not caught in the liquidation cascade, and very likely were able to capture some fat arbs across the board ~ 8-10% yield isn't as "sexy" as 20, 50, 200, 1000%, but the higher up the yield curve you go, the higher risk you take on (most often) the only time i have found this to not be true is when yields are high because of emission/boosts again, important to understand what the % is derived from was very lucky to have a bag of stables in USX during the sickening crash on october 10th, saved my bag through their strategies the protocol remained unphased USX held its peg, and stakers reaped the rewards of risk averse defi strategies (not getting liqd for 100%) very impressed and hope to continue to see this steady returns whilst farming $SLX for their tge
