On crypto and Bitcoin: - we’ve been in a bear market for a little more than a year - MSTR and BTC topped when Trump got elected - crypto topped in January 2025 ($TRUMP coin), shortly after Bitcoin - MSTR absorbed the majority of Bitcoin’s drawdown. It’s better for institutions to short, etc. This is why BTC only went down 30% - BTC bottomed in November - crypto still had a couple of runners during the bear market, like Aster. This is normal and happened last bear market too (Pepe, Mog, etc) - CT is “dead” right now because it’s a bear market, not because of @nikitabier’s algo - Crypto people want 100X musical chairs, hot potato style runners. As soon as bitcoin starts pumping hard again, these will return. And then CT will return - I’d be very surprised if in 3 months we are lower than we are now

I sold these calls shortly after this tweet, and it’s now looking like that was a free money play Because I’m a huge $OPEN bull with no intention of selling ANY shares any time soon I like to collect premium via options (if I think risk/reward is high) The idea that this stock was going to go to $18 from $7 in 10 days felt ludicrous to me The responses I got were even more ludicrous, detailing events that would happen over 10 days that would send the stock to $20 That’s just generally not how markets work I think $OPEN gets to $30 and beyond over the next 12-18 months But I did not think it’d get to $20 in 10 days lol Gimme that premium!
