The community has tied the whole thing back to Roaring Kitty — Keith Gill, aka DFV — and one of his old online identities. Before he became known as Roaring Kitty, Keith Gill reportedly used the handle Mr. Wizard. He was a skilled player of the card game Wizard, and the official community had a profile listed as “Keith Gill (Mr. Wizard), Brockton, MA.” The account was later identified by community researchers as user ID 855 and had been largely inactive since around 2020. Then, in mid-to-late September 2026, the GME community started connecting the dots: * The on-chain project TSUKI posted Wizard-related imagery and highlighted the number 855, which the community interpreted as an early reference to Mr. Wizard. * A few days later, the long-dormant Wizard account showed signs of new login/activity after roughly six years of inactivity. * Then came the claim that Roaring Kitty had logged back into the Wizard account and added “+++++”.
